This course clarifies the requirements of the new harmonised WHS legislation which commenced in 2012. It explains the difference between hazardous substances and dangerous goods, discusses the Australian Dangerous Goods Code and Safety Data Sheets (SDS). This course will empower you by helping you identify associated hazards, assess key risk factors, determine whether the hazard can be eliminated or the risks minimised through the most appropriate controls, other contributing factors and can be tailored to individual workplaces.
